3.  Are there any restrictions on the name of the company I can choose?

If the name is already being used by another company it is not possible to form a company with the same name.

There are also a number of restrictions on the names that you can use. These are referred to as sensitive names. When incorporating a company we recommend that you use the "Help" facility and using the Quick Search facility make a check to ensure that the company name is not already in use.

You may be required to produce supporting documentation if the name of the company that you choose suggests a certain size such as "international", "group" or "holding".
