Requirements:
- All Florida companies must have a registered office and agent
in Florida.
- The name of the limited liability company must end with the
words “limited liability company” or “limited
company” or the abbreviations “L.L.C”, “L.C”,
“LLC” or “LC”
- A minimum of one manager (director) is required, which cannot
be a corporate body. The manager does not need to be resident
in Florida and can also be a member.
- A minimum of one member is required.
- The statutory books can be maintained outside Florida.
