The new Companies Act comes into full effect on 1st October 2009. Amongst the important changes you need to be aware of are the following:
· Companies House forms will all be completely new.
· Directors will need to declare a service address rather than a residential address, which will be confidential.
· Memorandum and Articles of Association will all be changed.
· Every time a resolution is filed, a complete set of Mem and Arts will also need to be filed.
· The Northern Ireland Registry is to be integrated with that of the rest of the United Kingdom.
